Description: A custom fabricated geometric 3D art sculpture out of perforated aluminum sheeting for Hoffman York’s reception area and cafeteria wall. The project began with basic concepts on paper, which I then used to create the first drafts in 3D. Using 3D print technology, the production of scaled miniatures of the geometric art were used to help our fabricators visualize the sculpture as a whole. Once the designs were finalized, the model was broken down into individual faces, then routed & assembled. From concept to completion, this was a very unique and amazing project, bringing art to fabrication.
